Our journey began with Bob Wolf, founder of HOPE® Skills (HOPE: Help Other People Excel®), a life skills coach and motivational speaker with over 20 years of experience in New York. Inspired by Bob and along with Bob, long-time friends Jeff Schaffer and Bashan Johnson established the 501c3 nonprofit organization “Making a Difference Foundation.” Our Goal is to help youth by enhancing their First Impression, Interpersonal, Communication, Presentation and Selling Skills, enriched with personal stories to highlight the importance of these 5 skills.
We collaborate with schools, youth organizations and businesses to foster character, integrity, professionalism, and relationships through networking. Our aim is to share the secrets of building lasting, supportive relationships that can shape careers and nurture team players who go the extra mile.
Our program received support from diverse demographics. Parents appreciate it because it equips their children with a competitive edge in today’s job market. Students gain the skills to build relationships, and earn support from people they meet in life. Employers also see the value of our organization we help develop valuable productive team players who use their proactive skills, positive attitudes as confident leaders and exemplary citizens.
